Suspects charged in kidnapping, killing of Louisville 25-year-old arraigned in court
The bond remains at $1 million for two men charged in the kidnapping and murdering another man.
Roderick Bush and Dejuan Simonton, who are each charged with complicity to murder and complicity to kidnapping in the death of 25-year-old Jermaine Sprewer, appeared in arraignment court Tuesday morning, Jan. 18.
Several agencies held a news conference on Wednesday to talk about the arrests connected to the death of Sprewer.
According to officials, Simonton is also charged with attempted murder of a police officer and wanton endangerment after shots were fired on 41st Street near Garfield Avenue during his arrest.

Sprewer was kidnapped and held for ransom in September. His kidnappers' video-called his family, showing him tied up and surrounded by guns.
His body was found near a boat ramp at Shawnee Park a few days later.
Bush and Simonton are due back in court in March.
