Minnesota has been forced to postpone Wednesday night’s game at Penn State due to a COVID outbreak within its program, ESPN reported Tuesday.

The Golden Gophers last played Sunday with just seven scholarship players. Eric Curry, Sean Sutherlin, Danny Ogele and Joey Kern all missed that contest against Iowa due to COVID-19 protocol or injury. The Gophers were also without two assistant coaches.

Curry is the team’s leading rebounder and fourth-leading scorer.

The Gophers (10-5, 1-5 Big Ten), who have lost four in a row, are next scheduled to host Rutgers on Saturday.
