Glass frustrated by first-half penalty snub
FT: Aberdeen 1-1 Rangers
Aberdeen manager Stephen Glass tells BBC Scotland: "Frustrated that we didn't get the three points.
"We looked the dominant team even after going a goal behind."
On the controversial incident where Ryan Hedges looked to have been fouled by Allan McGregor, Glass adds: "It's a penalty kick. Goalkeeper comes out, doesn't get near the ball, hits our forward player. It's a penalty kick.
"The linesman said there wasn't enough contact then the referee told me at half-time there was no contact. it's an incident that has cost us probably winning the game.
"The one thing we could have managed better was Rangers scoring straight after that, but their reaction to going behind was brilliant."

St Johnstone in crisis - Davidson
FT: Hearts 2-0 St Johnstone
St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson says his side are in a tough spot after an eighth straight league loss.
"I think it's a crisis just now to be honest with you," he said on Sportsound.
"You can't go on a run like this. Tonight I thought we did it and then chucked a goal away. The players are trying hard to get better at certain things. But we need to get results.
"First half we worked really hard and our shape and discipline were good and we had that attacking threat we've been missing a little bit.
"There were a lot of signs of improvement and I was pleased with how we performed first half.
"Second half, from our kick-off we concede. The game changes, they have three quick players up front and it played into their hands second half."

'Old fashioned kind of striker' Anderson is the Livi hero
FT: Livingston 2-0 Dundee
Livingston manager David Martindale tells BBC Sportsound: "Bruce Anderson took a sore one to his ankle but I gave him an extra 15 minutes to see if he could get his hat-trick. He caused them problems all night. He was unlucky with a couple of chances in the first half and got his just rewards in the second half.
"He's an old fashioned kind of striker. He just lives to play football and score goals.
"We were well worth the three points. I thought we dominated for large spells."
'John's mental strength not in doubt' after booing
FT: Hearts 2-0 St Johnstone
Hearts head coach Robbie Neilson: "You're never sure how you're going to come back into the first game, so I'm pleased with that. It was quite a difficult game for us.
"They set up really well and it took a bit of time to break them down. Pleased to get the three points and it puts us in a good position in third place.
"Barrie [McKay] stole the show tonight with two great assists. We just need to keep him fit and get some goals into his game as well."
On the booing of John Souttar: "John's a guy that's recovered from three Achilles ruptures. There's not many who recover from one. There's never any question of John's mental strength."

'We threw the game away' - Alexander
FT: Ross County 3-1 Motherwell
As you'd expect, Motherwell boss Graham Alexander is not a happy man.
"We threw the game away," he tells BBC Sportsound. "We were completely dominant right up to half-time. We had good opportunities to score and started the second half in same fashion.
"The red card for them softened us up mentally and we threw the game away. We played worse when they went down to 10 men and allowed them to play better. That's what happens when you take it easy.
"When we take it easy, we're crap. Simple as. We should've had three points tonight. We have to make up for that."

Livi’ loving life
FT: Livingston 2-0 Dundee
Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at the Tony Macaroni Arena
After a tough start to the season, Davie Martindale’s upwardly mobile Livingston are now only two points behind seventh-placed Dundee United. Bruce Anderson is on nine goals for the season and things are looking at lot cheerier in West Lothian.
Dundee, meanwhile, are enduring a poor run of six defeats in a row and they and St Johnstone are starting to look a little cut off at the foot off the table.
Will title go to the wire?
It would be a foolish man who tries to predict a league winner in January (Motherwell), but already things are looking a lot tighter this time around.
On 18 January last year, 21 points split the Glasgow sides as Rangers were cantering to the title while Celtic were dealing with the fall out of their ill-advised jaunt to Dubai. After tonight's results that chasm is down to four, with an Old Firm game not too far away.
Despite all that, tonight's result is the first time Giovanni van Bronckhorst has seen his side drop any points in the league since taking over from Steven Gerrard. Things have been good under the Dutchman.
With that in mind, are you still confident Rangers fans?

What does tonight's results do to the table?
Starting at the top, Rangers' draw at Pittodrie means the gap between them and Celtic is four points after their win over Hibs last night.
Hearts' win over St Johnstone solidifies their place in third, with Motherwell now eight points back after they combusted in Dingwall.
Aberdeen's point against Rangers takes them a smidge further away from Dundee United, who now have lost six games on the spin.
At the bottom end of the table, Defeats for St Johnstone and Dundee leave them looking isolated, with County, St Mirren and Livingston all winning.

Right, go catch your breath, and we'll try to digest a frenetic night's work.
FULL-TIME Dundee United 1-2 St Mirren
Tony Watt's Dundee United debut was not one to remember for the Tannadice side in this defeat to St Mirren, who ended a run of 11 games without a victory.
United looked blunt for most of the contest and left it far too late before they showed any attacking intent, and even then relied on an own goal to try and give them a lifeline.
St Mirren remain ninth but move further away from the bottom of the table.

FULL-TIME Ross County 3-1 Motherwell
What a win for County!
With the game at 1-1 and the home side down to 10 men, Malky Mackay's men rallied to earn a fantastic three points.
That victory sees County move seven points clear of the bottom. A huge missed opportunity for Motherwell, however.
FULL-TIME Aberdeen 1-1 Rangers
Aberdeen claim a deserved point at Pittodrie with that Lewis Ferguson penalty proving crucial.
However, how costly could this be for Rangers, who also had Ryan Kent sent off?
SNSCopyright: SNS
FULL-TIME Livingston 2-0 Dundee
Bruce Anderson is the Livingston hero with both goals as David Martindale's side consign Dundee to a sixth successive defeat.
The visitors remain two points ahead of St Johnstone at the foot of the table.
CLOSE!
Dundee Utd 1-2 St Mirren
Mulgrew goes close again!
This one wasn't a deliberate effort though, as his cross almost caught Alnwick out at the back post but it just went wide. If anyone scores here, it looks certain to be United.
CLOSE!
Aberdeen 1-1 Rangers
Connor McLennan is inches away from connecting with a peach of a Christian Ramirez delivery as Aberdeen threaten a late winner, with Ryan Hedges then stabbing wide.
FULL-TIME Hearts 2-0 St Johnstone
Josh Ginnelly's double gives Hearts a comfortable win. Barrie McKay was outstanding and set up both goals.
The Gorgie outfit are now seven points clear in third place.

United 'knocking at the door'
Dundee Utd 1-2 St Mirren
Dundee United are knocking at the door.
Charlie Mulgrew is the next to go close, sending a long distance strike just inches over from 35 yards. The pressure is all on St Mirren - can they hold on for their first win in 12?
Bye bye Bruce
Livingston 2-0 Dundee
Kenny Crawford
BBC Sport Scotland at the Tony Macaroni
There will be no hat-trick. Man of the match Bruce Anderson has been taken off to a standing ovation from the home support. Sadly, James Penrice has also departed the action with a nasty looking innocuous injury.
