Top-25 Recruit A.J. Harris Announces UC is one of his top Schools

The cornerback played with current Cincinnati Bearcat JQ Hardaway in high school.

CINCINNATI — The addition of Kerry Coombs as the Bearcats new special teams coordinator and cornerbacks coach is already helping Cincinnati on the recruiting trail.

Class of 2023 cornerback A.J. Harris confirmed that UC is now one of his top schools after Coombs had been pushing him to join Ohio State.

According to 247Sports, Harris is a five-star cornerback out of Central High School (Ala.). He is the site's 18th-ranked prospect and No. 3 cornerback. ESPN has him slated as a four-star talent and he is ranked 22nd on the 2023 ESPN 300.

Harris was high school teammates with UC's second-highest ranked 2022 recruit, JQ Hardaway, and the new Bearcat is pushing his friend to join him.
