Jodie Sweetin is joining Megan Fox on Hollywood’s list of newest brides-to-be.
The Full House alum (who turns 40 on January 19) just revealed that she’s engaged to her beau, Mescal Wasilewski. Sweetin announced the exciting news on Instagram and shared a must-see glimpse of her brand-new engagement ring.

We turned to jewelry expert Mark Broumand (CEO of Mark Broumand Inc.), who analyzed the photos of Sweetin’s engagement ring and shared his expertise about the sparkler. “This beautiful marquise cut engagement ring looks to be an antique, most likely from the Edwardian period,” he told PureWow.
Broumand continued, “[It] is poised in the center of a halo of round diamonds with a few round diamond prongs set down the sides in platinum. It is designed to look like it’s floating, as I am sure Jodie is at this amazing moment in her life.”
Broumand explained that “the center diamond appears to be about 1.50ct in size.”
As Broumand pointed out, “These types of engagement rings can vary in price from $20,000 to $40,000, depending on quality and period.”
Sweetin announced the exciting news on her personal Instagram account, where she shared a selfie featuring her man (see above). Based on their workout attire, it seems Wasilewski proposed during a hike.
In the caption, Sweetin quoted Maya Angelou before writing, “I love you Mescal, for always. You’re my person. I can’t wait to see the life that lies ahead for us. Here’s to us, @ghostfacelito and our life of adventures. Together. I think I’m really gonna like turning 40.”
