Private label products are made by nationally known companies just at the begining of the run or at the end of the run of the name brands. The quality of the food is not that off because all. companies have to follow the guidelines of the FDA-

First of all the brands you are paying a little more for is going down the same Conveyor belt that the Walmart product came down all they do is change the labels on the cans. Walmart is a distributor not the manufacturer!I majored in Home Economics(a subject they no long teach, but need to),I toured manufacturers a viewed numerous different label that where switched out for store brand labels. The 12 items listed in this article are sold at numerous stores across the county only three have Walmart labels, so you can’t blame Walmart for taste, dents, or the quality of the product.

first of all I would rather pay a bit more for some name brands. as far as Wal-Mart brand of anything is GROSS. NEVER buy their brand of anything. And second of all NEVER BUY fat free, low sodium, heart healthy etc. the chemicals our government allows these companies to add to these foods is so unhealthy.
