According to the statement, people were on the ice pointing officials toward the direction of where they said a person went through.

Another man also fell through the ice while police were there.

Authorities pulled him from the water using a rope when a woman fell through the ice seconds later, the statement added.

A rope was used to pull the woman from the water and bring her to shore, the statement said.

The man who had fallen through on his motorcycle was also rescued approximately 300 yards from the shoreline.

Rescue units used ice rescue suits and a rescue sled “to make their way out to the initial victim who had fallen through the ice on his motorcycle,” according to the statement.

All victims were removed from the icy lake Assistant Fire Chief Raymond Bock Jr. of the Netcong Borough Fire Department said on Monday.
