The Xbox Game Pass X account shared that they’ve started the work to bring Activision Blizzard’s games, including the iconic CoD franchise and Diablo 4, to the service.
When is Call of Duty coming to Xbox Game Pass?
More details about Call of Duty coming to Game Pass were shared during an episode of the official Xbox podcast, and the company’s executives confirmed that all first-party games are coming to the service in 2024.
“Game Pass will continue to only be available on Xbox platforms and will have all first party games playable on day one,” shared the Xbox executives as they updated the community with the latest on what’s to come.
With the deal’s closure, many CoD fans were interested to know if classic CoD titles would be added to Xbox Game Pass. Xbox’s CEO Phil Spencer and the executive team confirmed that all first-party games are coming to the service at launch, CoD 2024 should be taken into consideration here. However, this has yet to be officially confirmed as it relates to Call of Duty 2024.
The introduction of Call of Duty into Xbox Game Pass would allow fans not only to save money but also provide significant day-one access, particularly valued by longtime Call of Duty players.
