The first grand slam tennis tournament of the year, the Australian Open, is underway in Melbourne.

The top seed and defending champion on the men's side, Novak Djokovic, isn't competing after being deported from Australia following a court battle over his visa. Australia's Ash Barty is the top women's seed, with defending champion Naomi Osaka back to defend her crown.

While Leylah Annie Fernandez's hopes of a second consecutive miracle run at a grand slam ended early and Bianca Andreescu is skipping this year's event, Canada still has plenty of contenders led by Félix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov in the men's singles draw.

Here's everything you need to know about how to watch the 2022 Australian Open in Canada, including a full TV schedule and the full draw.
