Andrew Garfield Says He Would Love to Do Another Movie With Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire

Fans had a blast at the movies this past month watching Spider-Man: No Way Home and seeing the three Spider-Man meme come to life. The film was a heavy and important chapter in the Tom Holland story arc, and it was cathartic to see our first Spider-Man, Tobey Maguire, as well as “middle child,” Andrew Garfield, back up in the roles of Peter Parker. We had already seen these two characters face immense loss and pain, and knew that Holland’s Parker could count on them as unique guides through his trauma.

Garfield is enjoying the ride he’s been on since the film was released, finally being able to talk about the experience and what it may mean for his future. On a recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Andrew Garfield was asked what the future may hold for his career as Spider-Man. He responded pretty much just saying that while he loved the dynamic and would love to return with his co-stars, he’s just enjoying the moment:

"I would love to continue working with Tobey and with Tom. I think that kind of three-brother dynamic is so... I don't know, juicy. ...But to be honest man, I'm going to honestly say I'm so happy and satisfied and grateful to be a part of this [Spider-Man: No Way Home]. It's hard to want more right now. I'm just kind of just trying to savor this moment with the fans, with the audience, and just kind of say 'Thank you.' Yeah. I just feel humble and grateful for the response."

This peace within the character has been a long time coming, and Garfield does admit that the experience of making Spider-Man: No Way Home was cathartic enough to leave him in a "lighter" and "more restful" place with the character. He definitely deserves it! I don’t know if we will see Garfield back in the role, but I know fans would be happy if we did!

For now, we will just enjoy the movie that was made, and all the people who got to be a part of it.
