The Pittsburgh Steelers might not be winning the Super Bowl this year, but players have high hopes on other huge NFL honors this postseason.

TJ Watt has been a front-runner for the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year award all season. According to teammate Minkah Fitzpatrick, the honor is “rigged for sure if he doesn't win.” ESPN Steelers reporter Brooke Pryor tweeted Fitzpatrick's conspiracy theory on the matter Tuesday morning.

Just two days prior, the Steelers finished off their season with a Wild Card loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Watt recorded three solo tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, and one defended pass.

While it was a productive game for Watt, his regular season records are what set him apart from the rest of the DPOY candidates. He recorded 64 tackles: 48 solo, 16 assisted, and 21 for loss. His most impressive stat from the season: 22.5 sacks, tying Michael Strahan's record for the most sacks in one season. Watt did all of this in only 15 games, missing Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals and Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Other DPOY candidates include Dallas Cowboys' rookie Micah Parsons and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.

Fitzpatrick isn't the only Steelers star who expects Watt to receive the honor. Ben Roethlisberger told the media back in December that Watt is one of the best players in the league, not just on defensive. Big Ben said that Watt deserves DPOY and MVP consideration.

The Defensive Player of the Year will be announced at the NFL Honors on February 10.
