Heidi Klum Reveals She Was a Huge Snoop Dogg Fan Before Collaboration

Heidi Klum’s new single “Chai Tea With Heidi” is a collaboration with hip-hop icon, Snoop Dogg and producer duo, WeddingCake. Before collaborating on the new hit, Klum was apparently a huge fan of the legendary rapper.
When asked recently how she made her way into the music industry, the America’s Got Talent judge said she always loved to sing. Klum went on to explain that after last year’s finale of Germany’s Next Top Model, executives wanted to bring something new to the show in the following season. The idea that Klum sing the theme song of the show was presented and she did not hesitate to agree.
“You do not have to ask me twice to sing something,” Klum said during her sit down on Today. “But I said maybe I will do a duet.”
Having Snoop Dogg on the track was a no brainer. Klum revealed that she is a “huge Snoop Dogg fan.” After calling the rapper to discuss the potential collaboration, Klum visited Snoop’s studio in Inglewood, California, and the rest is history. “Chai Tea With Heidi” will serve as the opening track for Season 17 of Germany’s Next Top Model.

As if hosting shows such as America’s Got Talent, Germany’s Next Top Model, and Making The Cut wasn’t enough, Klum is also a mother of four.
“It’s mayhem,” she said about motherhood and raising her kids.
Klum beamed with pride when discussing her older daughter, Leni. The 18 year old is the spitting image of her famous mom, and she has taken those looks and built her own modeling career. Leni is signed to CAA fashion and recently graced the cover of Elle Magazine Russia with Klum.
“I am most proud that her head is still on right. She is sending her applications to college,” Klum explained. “She can juggle all of this and her head is not blowing up.”
She spoke with excitement while discussing her marriage to Tokyo Hotel guitarist, Tom Kaulitz. She discussed that having the same background and upbringing as her husband helps their marriage work.
Klum is expected to return to America’s Got Talent this summer just as Germany’s Next Top Model raps its latest season.
