School closures, Auburn’s ranking, prep record: Down in Alabama

From today’s Down in Alabama podcast:

If you stood on a basketball court, just outside the 3-point arc, and fired up one shot after another, how long would it take you to make 18 3-pointers?

Deshler High School’s Chloe Siegel pumped in 18 3-point shots on Monday in to break the national girls basketball record for treys in a single game.

More on that on today’s briefing. Also, while most schools are back to class today, many aren’t. And Auburn matched its highest ranking in program history.
