Backstage Update On Eddie Kingston’s Injury & The Timetable For His Return

We reported on Monday here on eWn that Eddie Kingston will be out of action for the next several weeks due to an injury.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, Kingston is dealing with a fractured orbital bone. The AEW wrestler is expected to be out for “what he hopes is around three weeks.”

AEW President Tony Khan made the injury announcement during Saturday’s AEW Dark tapings in Orlando, FL. For what it’s worth, Kingston was working commentary at the Dark tapings.

If Kingston is able to return in around three weeks, he would be available for AEW’s Revolution pay-per-view event, which takes place on March 6th.

As of this writing, there is no word on if Kingston will still be appearing at ‘The WRLD On GCW’ pay-per-view event on Sunday night to respond to AJ Gray’s challenge. If he does appear, it’s highly unlikely that he’ll be wrestling.
