Good gods, y’all! During the NFL Super Wild Card game on Monday, Disney+ released the first official trailer for Moon Knight, giving us an extended look at Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector, Marvel’s newest streaming savior.
The latest addition to the MCU — which premieres Wednesday, March 30 — is described as a “complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt.”
In addition to Isaac, Moon Knight‘s six-episode first season also stars May Calamawy and Ethan Hawke.
Of course, Moon Knight is just one of several high-profile Marvel projects coming to Disney+ in the near future. Also on the horizon is She-Hulk, starring Tatiana Maslany as Bruce Banner’s attorney cousin Jennifer Walters; Ms. Marvel, introducing Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, a Muslim teen who gains shape-shifting abilities; and Secret Invasion, which reunites familiar faces like Nick Fury and Maria Hill for a new battle against a sect of Skrulls. Previous MCU series on Disney+ include WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, What If…? and Hawkeye.
Hit PLAY on the trailer above for a first look at Moon Knight, then drop a comment with your early thoughts below. Will you be watching later this year?

It looks so good! Can’t wait!
Im ready for this! This looks a lot better than Hawkeye
Kinda shocked by the release date. I would have expected it a week or two earlier so that its finale wouldn’t drop on Star Wars day.
Maybe the release strategy will be the same as Hawkeye, dropping the first 2 episodes on the 30th and then new episodes will be released on a weekly basis (and it seems that strategy worked out in the end) that way the finale won’t air on Star Wars Day and Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on that day.
Do they have anything else to air that day? I mean, I’m not sure they have anything between Boba Fett and this.
But no Star Wars TV or Movie are released that day, so kinda moot. *shrug*
I have been a fan of Moon Knight for over 35 years. I cannot believe that this is really happening
So excited for this! Can’t wait to see Oscar Isaac in the role.
His accent reminds me of someone/thing and I can’t place it. Really wild and trippy intriguing trailer! I’m sure it’ll be another good one from Marvel.
I can’t wait to see this!!! Its going to be such a different MCU series. It’s interesting just on the fact that this hero has dissociative identity disorder. We will be discovering what’s happening to him as the character himself is trying to figure out what’s happening too.
Ugh. I hate shows where the character and the viewer can’t tell what is a dream. Probably invisible shifts from dream to awake. Viewer confusion and frustration.
Ok, this looks awful many animes use these themes and do it way better than the stuff in this trailer…
I have to wait till March 30 for this? Crap I thought it was coming out in Feb. Oh well. This looks great, I’m just impatient.
Wasn’t there already a show like this called Legion?
Not at all like this
I would watch Oscar Isaac read the phone book, but I find it odd that his voice sounds like Rufus Sewell’s.
Maybe it’s the hair. 😉
It looks a little darker than I generally like for superhero stuff (poor luck with the cynical, uber gritty projects) but it’s Marvel and Oscar so OF COURSE I’ll try it! :D
Pumped! Marvel is really bringing it with each of the Disney+ series. All of them have been amazing.
