EastEnders' Sharon Watts will give Phil Mitchell an ultimatum, after he brutally dumps Kat next week.

Viewers know that Phil (Steve McFadden) is facing life in prison, but he's only told his partner Kat half the story.

Not only does Kat (Jessie Wallace) believe that Phil is looking at a much shorter sentence, but she's also in the dark about the life-changing offer he's been given by Ritchie as next week arrives.

As Phil pursues his plans to sell up his businesses, he is berated by Kathy – who insists that Ben should be his priority.

Kat is also grilled on Phil's sentence by Jean, but remains adamant that her feelings won't change.

Wanting some alone time with Phil, Kat secretly puts her phone on silent so they can't be interrupted.

However, when Phil sees the missed calls on his phone later on, he's furious and blames Kat.

Following some interference from Jean, Phil apologises to Kat and makes a big decision.

Unable to tell her the truth about his sentence, Phil breaks up with Kat, leaving her confused.

As Kat reels from Phil's big change of heart over their future, he faces the wrath of Jean, who is also struggling to come to terms with what's happened.

With Phil refusing to back down, Kat shares the news with Sharon – leaving her certain there's more to it.

Determined to find out what's really wrong, Sharon piles the pressure on Phil and he admits that he's facing life in prison.

When Sharon realises Phil hasn't told Kat, she gives him an ultimatum – he tells her or she will.

Later, Sharon reminds Phil what he needs to do and he finally comes clean to Kat, but how will she react?
