Georgia quarterback JT Daniels is expected to transfer once again in search of a starting gig. Where could the former five-star find success?

Reports on Monday suggest Georgia quarterback JT Daniels will leave the Bulldogs after serving as a backup for the last two seasons.

Daniels was highly touted in high school as a five-star prospect but things haven’t gone his way in the college ranks just yet.

A new home could finally give him the chance to prove himself. Where could that be?

Ole Miss Rebels

The Rebels have been in the mix for multiple transfer quarterback targets in their bid to replace Matt Corral, who is off to the NFL.

If they strike out on Caleb Williams and Jaxson Dart, Daniels could be a desirable backup plan for Lane Kiffin.

The advantage Williams and Dart have over Daniels is mobility. However, Kiffin has succeeded with less mobile quarterbacks in the past, especially ones that pair an arm with cerebral ability like Daniels.

At this stage, Daniels’ transfer movement has been the result of misfortune more than lack of talent. He was wally-pipped at both USC and Georgia while dealing with injury problems.

Kiffin could certainly get the most out of Daniels while the quarterback could help the Rebels as a veteran with experience and potential.

Of course, if Williams or Dart do decide to go with the Rebels, Daniels could miss out on something out of his control again.
