Disney’s 50th Anniversary Vault Collection has been the answer to all our nostalgia and vintage Disney dreams.

The 50th Anniversary items have been really popular!

Whether you love vintage-style clothing or pieces of decor, the Vault Collection has you covered. There’s a new item that was just added to the collection, and only the REAL Disney World fans will know this reference.

Who remembers Pleasure Island in what was then-called Downtown Disney of Disney World (part of what is now Disney Springs)? It closed in 2008, but it was once home to the night scene of Disney World (for people 21 and over, of course). One of the eight clubs on Pleasure Island was the Adventurer’s Club, where you could hang out in a setting reminiscent of a 1930s gentleman’s club.

Now fans of this unique club can enjoy a little piece of nostalgia with the new Adventurer’s Club T-Shirt on shopDisney! This vintage-style t-shirt is made of jersey knit, and you’ll find the Adventurer’s Club logo and art.

The t-shirt features distressed screen art for that vintage feel, and you can see some of the (fictional) cast of characters from the club, like the Colonel.

  1. Oh wow. This really brought back memories. I remember the seats at the bar which they would lower the seats in infinitesimal increments. You wouldn’t realize it til suddenly your seat was 1/3 lower than it had been before. That’s my biggest memory from pleasure island. I had been even warned about the seats but had forgotten about til I was suddenly much closer to the floor. More thought went into those seats , I dare say, then a lot of the current rides at Disney (and definitely more than went into genie!)

  2. The Adventurers Club was a truly memorable experience, unlike anything else in WDW. Missed it so much when it closed. Pleasure Island was a curious combination, but it worked and I also miss the old Marketplace sometimes.
