Colorado Avalanche goaltender Darcy Kuemper has left Monday’s game against the Minnesota Wild with a possible head injury.

Kuemper left the game after getting hit up high by Jordan Greenway midway through the second period. He was looked at by a trainer and initially stayed in the game but left on the order of the NHL’s concussion spotter.

Pavel Francouz took over in net with 10:34 left and remained in net at the start of the third period.

Kuemper had 12 saves before leaving the game.
