The Patriots signed Nordin to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Nordin landed a spot on the Patriots' 53-man roster ahead of the regular season but was placed on injured reserve in mid-September before being waived by the team. He rejoined the team's practice squad in early December but didn't make any appearances during the 2021 campaign. The 23-year-old is known for his leg strength and could compete to serve as the Patriots' starting kicker during training camp in 2022.
