Northland residents and visitors who had hoped to start their week by eating at the popular Duluth Grill were delivered some disappointing news over the weekend.

The Duluth Grill, located at 118 S 27th Avenue West, decided to temporarily close so that they could get to some floor repairs that needed to be done.

They made the announcement Saturday, January 15, on their Facebook page:

We will be CLOSED starting Monday January 17th due to much needed floor repair to our kitchen and dining room. If all goes perfectly we will be back open Thursday the 27th. We’ll see you when we get back and keep you updated if anything changes. In the mean time if you’re looking for a great lunch spot, check out our sister restaurant @corktown.deli. 🙏. #duluthgrill

In the meantime, you can drool over some of the menu items that they'll have to offer once the repairs are completed and they are once again open to the public.

According to their website, Duluth Grill serves "breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day- seven days a week." They also offer a traditional fare of eggs, burgers, sandwiches, and home style comfort foods. They also pride themselves on offering a huge variety of organic, locally grown, vegetarian, vegan, raw, gluten-free, healthy options, and made from scratch pies, cakes, and other baked goods. Simply stated, it's all delicious.

When they do reopen, the Duluth Grill has been open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
