Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 66 is almost here, and fans of the Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto franchise are excited to find out how the chaotic conflict between the Momoshiki-possessed Boruto, Code, Naruto, and Kawaki will unfold. Now, major spoilers have been leaked ahead of its release date, and fans are shocked at one major character's potential death.
Raw scans for Boruto Chapter 66 have leaked online, and according to the spoilers shared by a reliable Twitter source known as OrganicDinosaur, the final moment of the chapter reveals that Boruto asks Kawaki to kill him while his consciousness is still suppressing Momoshiki's spirit.
Kawaki then pierces him straight through the chest..."at least a meter of Kawaki's transformed arm has gone out the other side," which is now pouring blood.
Naruto watches in horror as Kawaki pushes his arm deeper, bringing them face-to-face. He retracts the arm, sending Boruto to the air and he lands in a crumbled heap. There's a gaping hole in Boruto's chest, and Naruto is shocked.
This is where Boruto Chapter 66 reportedly concludes, but note that Boruto's death hasn't been confirmed. There's probably a way Naruto's son survived those injuries, and we will most likely find out in Chapter 67, which releases next month.
Some fans of the Naruto franchise expressed their emotional reactions on social media after reading the leaks for Chapter 66, and some are clearly disappointed the turn of events, with several fans criticizing Kishimoto's writing.
