Thank you to Mayors Broome, Cantrell, and Lightfoot for all that they do to help advance the African American community from the Jim Crowe era to prosperity! I am so proud that my children are growing up in a country where they will not be judged by the color of their pasty white male and privileged skin but by the lack of three masks and a face shield on their faces. How far we’ve come in 2022!

I wonder what MLK Jr, who fought so hard for equality and freedom for all, would think today.

I celebrated in a deer stand until about 10a. Now I'm doing work emails and curtain wall shop drawings - at double time b/c "holiday".

I don't know about that, but I'll bet he would absolutely love yoga pants.

I'm wearing my hair natural like he did. You never saw Martin Luther da King walkin around with no jheri curl.

You could do that for free any day of the week on a street named MLK.

Except for Houma. Houma has a nice MLK Blvd.

That guy was trash and had a very sketchy personal life. Not sure why so many worship him.
