Microsoft may have made a bit of a mistake when it comes to revealing when games will be leaving their Xbox Game Pass service. First spotted by TrueAchievements, and shared by Wario64 on Twitter, there's (at least at the moment) a lot of games discoverable via the Xbox Game Pass app on PC that shows when their discounts end. This is important because all games that are on game pass (except those that have just released at the same time they went on GamePass) have that discount, so when that discount ends it typically means that the game's time on the service has come to an end.

This list isn't confirmed at the moment, but if it's real we have a long list of games that we now know exactly when they're leaving Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass service. Check it out below:

If this is true, most of the dates line up to the titles being available for a year on the service. This isn't all the games on the service either, as apparently other titles such as Spelunky 2, Dead Cells, and Generation Zero don't show dates at all, but if it's real it's a lot better than nothing.

Why? Let's say you want to start a long JRPG or get into the Yakuza series. You might beat Yakuza 3 and try to move onto Yakuza 4 only to discover that whoops, the series is off Game Pass now. If you knew this beforehand, you could plan out your playing time and play something like Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition instead, as that JRPG apparently isn't leaving the service until January 1st, 2023.

We'll find out for sure by the end of the month, so we won't have to wait too long to find out if this is real or not. Until then, stay tuned to TechRaptor.

Thanks, TrueAchievements.
