2022 Bearcats Commit Josh Reed Named McDonald's All-American Game Nominee

Cincinnati has the second-best 2022 class in the AAC.

CINCINNATI — Nominees for the 2022 McDonald's All-American game came down the pipeline this past week, and UC 2022 commit Josh Reed cracked the list. Nearly 800 girls and boys basketball players were a part of the announcement.

Reed is one of 15 boys players from Georgia to make the nominee list. It's a long shot that he'll be on the final list of 24 boys and girls to make the team, but it's a great accomplishment to be nominated.

According to 247Sports, the forward is ranked 146th among all 2022 recruits and is the 38th-best player at his position. He is a part of a UC class ranked just behind Houston among all AAC teams.

The 2022 Mcdonald's All-American Game is being played on March 29 in Chicago.
