I stopped watching back in October and returned for the Christmas episode, it was awful and I haven't been back since. So I don't know, can it be worse if it was already at rock bottom?

I thought Christmas was a bit disappointing, to be honest. Christmas Eve was pretty good, but the actual episode with all the Whitney stupidity wasn't that great.

I thought the Xmas episodes were an anti climax. There was so much hype surrounding Grays wedding & Sonia discovering the truth about Rocky. Nothing has really come of either storyline…. Yeah Chelsea believes Whitney & what though? The writers are really dragging that out. As for Sonias storyline, all she’s done is kick them out of the house & let Janine (a murderer) move in.

I think it’s been generally watchable for the last month or so. Christmas was fine and much better than 2019 & 2020.

Give it a rest goodness me

It cant be at 100mph every single episode. Soaps move in tides. Were at low tide right now, where stories are manifesting and building.

How people sea still confused by the narrative infrastructure in a soap is beyond me.

The Gray, Chelsea and Whitney storyline was good but then it was like the thread got lost as they didn't continue it afterwards for a while. Now it just feeling long and drawn out.

I don't think it's been too bad recently. There's still a lot of rubbish to sift through but the focus on the Monroes and the stuff with Suki has been pretty decent in my opinion.

Christmas was OK. I was expecting to hate it given that my two least favourite storylines - Gray and Dotty/Rocky - took centre stage, but it was an improvement on the previous couple of years.

Ever get the feeling some viewers are watching a completely different programme to what your watching. Eastenders was abysmal at Christmas, its been abysmal for the last few years.
