In celebration of Complex’s 20th birthday, NIGO®—fresh off the release of his new album I Know NIGO!—has been enlisted to commemorate the milestone. The pairing sees NIGO® offering a remixed Complex logo and creating an exclusive Maneki-Neko graphic—which is known to bring good luck and fortune. NIGO®’s take on the Complex logo was inspired by the traditional lettering styles known as Edomoji, which is used in Sumo wrestling and can be seen on clothing and signs from Japan. A similar hand style is also used regularly for stickers on shrines, serving as a traditional form to display “tagging” or “sticker-ing” known as “Senjafuda” that signifies someone visited a shrine or religious site.

Stüssy is back for Summer 2022, bringing an array of harmonious colourways and prints to kick off the warmer months. Presented via a beachside lookbook shot by Liam McRae, the latest offering from the Californian label focuses on combining premium quality with the brand’s signature understated aesthetic. Highlights this season include a daring cheetah-print jacket and contrasting trousers, a white puffer vest paired with baggy pants as well as dress shoes and an eye-catching knitted vest.

As we learned on Tuesday, Louis Vuitton’s Nike Air Force 1 collaboration that was orchestrated by the late Virgil Abloh will be on full display at the Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse in Brooklyn this week. The space, known as the Louis Vuitton and Nike “Air Force 1” by Virgil Abloh exhibition, will be open to the public starting tomorrow, May 21 through May 31 and will showcase all 47 iterations of the French luxury fashion house’s collaborative Air Force 1s.

Paypal and talent incubator Made have joined forces to celebrate culture, community, and emerging designers. Presented by IMG Focus, the Made x Paypal 2022 event will go down next week at St. Ann’s Warehouse in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Public School founders/designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, who are also Made alumni, curated the two-day event that aims to highlight emerging creatives who work within the realms of fashion, art, and music.

Nia Archives, the Bradford-born, London-based singer, producer and DJ, is back with a new single alongside the production outfit Watch The Ride. “Mash Up The Dance” is the track in question, and it was co-produced by Archives—who won Best Producer at the 2022 NME Awards back in March—and also features vocals from the artist herself. A slice of jungle music heaven, the track’s title will no doubt speak for itself as we enter summer months and the festival season.
