WATCH: Dana White spars with reporter who asks, ‘Are you a doctor?’

.

UFC President Dana White took issue with critics of ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies on Saturday, taking aim at doctors who are pressuring Spotify to label Joe Rogan a “menace” for sharing how he treated himself for COVID-19.

“Ever since I came out and said what I did, it’s almost impossible now to get monoclonal antibodies,” White claimed. “They’re making it so you can’t get them. Medicine that absolutely works, they’re keeping from us.”

The UFC president said he did not want to get political. Still, he argued that, according to his experience, ivermectin and monoclonal antibodies are worthwhile options.

“Now, all of a sudden, you can’t dig them up to save your life. The doctors won’t give them to you,” he said.

White said he was able to beat his bout of COVID-19 in a matter of days after taking the treatment first popularized by Rogan.

“I made one phone call and was able to get it done,” White said. “And that’s not like some f***ing rich, famous guy s***. Anybody could have called.”

“You know Rogan has been talking about [it], then I went crazy talking about it,” he continued. “You can’t get those things to save your life now, literally.”

White said the backlash from critics in and out of the medical community toward voices like his is “disgusting.”

“It’s one of the craziest things that I have ever witnessed in my life,” he said.

However, White’s comments did not go uncontested.

“You’re a doctor?” a reporter asked White.

“Here he comes,” the UFC president said.

“Are you a doctor?” the reporter repeated.

“No, but I took them, and they both worked for me,” White responded. “So, why shouldn’t I take them again, or other people?”

“I won’t answer,” the reporter replied.

“Dive in,” White challenged. “Why shouldn’t we be able to take them?”

“You want to know what’s scary?” he asked. “I bet I could get some f***ing pain pills quicker than I could get monoclonal antibodies.”

The journalist reportedly answered, “Maybe.”

“No, not maybe. That’s a fact,” White responded. “They f***ing hand out pain pills like they’re Tic Tacs.”
