Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale has teased that we can expect to see another special episode in the coming months, as the soap prepares to experiment with its format again.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media as part of a big 2022 preview, producer Laura Shaw revealed that fans will soon be treated to a "very special episode" from a completely different perspective.
"We're never ones to shy away from stepping outside of our comfort zone and usual storytelling style," she said. "We do have a very special episode coming up, which we're about to start shooting quite soon actually.

"This episode is going to spark off one of our biggest stories for this year, but in a different way.
"It's something we've not done before and it'll enable the audience to see the story from a whole different perspective to usual. I don't think I can say much more than that without giving it away."
Emmerdale is no stranger to switching up its style on occasion, having previously aired several special episodes which played with time and perspective.
In 2017, the soap aired an episode which featured younger versions of Faith, Cain and Chas Dingle, while it also produced a flashback episode for Charity Dingle in 2018 as it explored her experience of abuse.

2019's Big Night Out episodes also featured flashbacks from different characters' perspectives to reveal what had happened across one dramatic night, while the soap aired an episode in 2016 which represented Ashley Thomas's experience of dementia by casting different actors to play familiar characters and filming Ashley's view of events in a different way.
The soap will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in October and the soap's producers have promised that fans can expect a "golden month of celebration", featuring "mind-blowing stunts" and "more heartbreaks".
"I think there is a lot coming up – the focus is really to celebrate Emmerdale turning 50," producer Jane Hudson said. "Our focus at the moment is to really build those stories so when we get to our golden month of celebration, we've got secrets that the viewers are desperate to be revealed."
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
