BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — It’s another tough travel day in and out of South Florida.

A winter storm battering a huge part of the country is impacting travel in South Florida, with FlightAware reporting that 1,395 flights are already canceled as of 9:30 a.m. Monday. Add to that a total of 774 delays, and you have the makings of a very challenging day for getting anywhere by air.

In South Florida, most airlines appear to be impacted by the storm and bad weather, but JetBlue seems to be taking the brunt of the badness. The airline is reporting cancellations and delays to many locations in and out of Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. FlightAware reports that five percent of all JetBlue flights have been canceled today, while 10 percent are delayed.

Flights information changes quickly, so we encourage you to check with your airline before heading to an airport. We provide these links for access to the ‘real time’ flight information displayed at area airports.
