Neighbours has added former Home and Away star Tammin Sursok to its cast.

Tammin, who played Dani Sutherland in Home and Away from 2000 to 2004, has joined the Neighbours cast for an upcoming guest role.

The South African-born actress previously appeared in teen drama Pretty Little Liars as Jenna Marshall, but Tammin has decided to return to her Aussie soap roots for an unconfirmed number of episodes.

Channel 5 confirmed Tammin's new role to Digital Spy, but details about her character and for how long she'll be visiting Erinsborough are being kept under wraps for now.

Earlier today (January 17), Tammin shared a sneak peek of her Neighbours script on Instagram, so fans can expect to see her arrival on Ramsay Street fairly soon.

Meanwhile, in other Neighbours news, Stefan Dennis recently revealed which scrapped Paul Robinson storyline he would have loved to see play out on-screen.

Opening up about his favourite plot that never was, Stefan said his character's somewhat recent wedding was supposed to happen in Las Vegas, instead of Queensland.

"It's the one that actually never happened, where Paul and Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) were supposed to get married in Las Vegas," he explained.

"We were all set to fly out there, but there was an issue with the visas, and then COVID hit. It would have been the exact same storyline that played out, with all the ex-wives turning up, just in Vegas instead of Queensland. That would have been my favourite!"

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
