EastEnders spoilers follow.
EastEnders' Phil Mitchell will get some life-changing news over his prison fate tonight (January 17).
Phil (Steve McFadden) recently learned from his family lawyer Ritchie that he is looking at life in jail over the role he played in Vincent Hubbard's death three years ago.
To make matters worse, Phil hasn't been entirely honest with his partner Kat Slater – telling her that he's only looking at a couple of years in jail as a worst case scenario.

As a guilty Phil continues to keep Kat in the dark, he attempts to see his young son Raymond in Monday's (January 17) episode, but is stopped by Isaac and Lola.
They warn him about Ben's recent outburst towards Lexi and suggest that Phil should be concerned about his behaviour, instead of focusing on Raymond.
Taking their words on board, Phil pays a visit to Ben to check that he's capable of handling the businesses.
During the visit, Phil realises that something is wrong, leaving him unsure over whether Ben can handle the responsibility after all.
Later, DCI Keeble informs Phil about his fate, with a bombshell that could change everything. But what is it? And what will it mean for Phil?
Also ahead tonight, Gray wants to register Jordan's birth, but Chelsea fears that she'll never be rid of him if he's mentioned on the birth certificate.
