BLACKPINK's 'Lovesick Girls' Reaches 300 Million Streams on Spotify

On January 17, the fifth track from BLACKPINK's first full-length album "The Album" officially reached more than 300 million streams on Spotify. Moreover, "Lovesick Girls" is the third track from the quartet's album to hit the record, coming after "How You Like That" and "Ice Cream (featuring Selena Gomez)."

Furthermore, "The Album" is now tied with "Glory Days" by Little Mix as the album by a female group to have the most songs to exceed 300 million streams on Spotify.

To make this milestone even more remarkable, "Lovesick Girls" becomes BLACKPINK's 8th to hit 300 million streams on Spotify. It followed the songs "Kiss and Make Up (featuring Dua Lipa)," "Kill This Love," "DDU-DU DDU-DU," "How You Like That," "Ice Cream (with Selena Gomez)," "As If It's Your Last," and "BOOMBAYAH."

BLACKPINK accumulated more than 6.4 billion streams on Spotify across all categories, this makes BLACKPINK the fastest female group to hit the record.

Worldwide fans of BLACKPINK were outraged because of the group's long period of inactivity.

BLACKPINK has been conducting individual activities since the first full-length album "THE ALBUM," which was released in October 2020. The group's last concert was "YG PALM STAGE - 2021 BLACKPINK: THE SHOW" held in January 2021.
