KCMO police investigating homicide at 12th and Topping

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are investigating a homicide at 12th Street and Topping Avenue.

KCPD said officers were called to the area about 1:45 a.m. Monday for a crash involving injuries.

When they arrived, they found an adult man who had been shot inside a vehicle that was crashed on the side of the road.

The victim, 41-year-old Bradley Hedrick, died on the scene.
