Eric Clapton tests positive for Covid, cancels shows
Eric Clapton has cancelled two shows on his current European tour after testing positive for Covid-19. The news was broken in a statement on Clapton's Facebook page. The statement read: "Eric Clapton is unfortunately suffering from Covid having tested positive shortly after the second concert at the Royal Albert Hall [May 8]. He has been told by his medical advisors that if he were to resume traveling and performing too soon, it could substantially delay his full recovery. Eric is also anxious to avoid passing on any infection to any of his band, crew, promoters, their staff and of course the fans."

New Fates Warning biography to be published
A brand new biography of US prog metal pioneers Fates Warning is to be published in July. Destination Onward – The Story Of Fates Warning is a 400-page history of the band which will be published by FYI Press and Radical Research on July 15. Written by author Jeff Wagner, who also wrote Mean Deviation: Four Decades of Progressive Heavy Metal, will feature 176 black and white photos and 56 colour photos, many of which have never been seen before.
