Coronation Street's Eileen Grimshaw is shocked as she catches her friend Tim Metcalfe planning his own funeral tonight (January 17).
Eileen (Sue Cleaver) is left with the burden of Tim's secret on her shoulders after witnessing him in secret talks with George Shuttleworth.
Viewers have recently seen Tim (Joe Duttine) discover that he needs triple heart bypass surgery after some concerning test results.
Although there's every reason to believe that Tim will be okay following the surgery, he can't help fearing the worst.

In Monday's double bill, Tim pays George (Tony Maudsley) a visit and explains that he wants to make his funeral arrangements.
Tim explains that, if the worst does happen, he doesn't want his wife Sally (Sally Dynevor) to be left with the responsibility.
George respects Tim's wishes, but the situation takes an awkward turn when Eileen sees him leaving the funeral parlour later on.
Tim explains himself, but swears Eileen to secrecy.

Meanwhile, Sally continues to be suspicious over Tim's behaviour as she can tell that he is hiding something from her.
The latest clue comes when she spots Tim having a secret meeting with Adam Barlow (Samuel Robertson), who later refuses to tell Sally what it was about.
After some advice from her ex-husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell), Sally decides to take the direct approach with Tim and ask him what's going on.
Tim dismisses Sally's theory that he's having an affair, but she still isn't totally convinced and resorts to installing a tracker on his phone.
Coronation Street airs tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
