LOOK: Lane Kiffin poses with transfer QB Jaxson Dart
Not many, if any, college football coaches use Twitter better than Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin. Almost daily, it seems like he is posting something outlandish on the app and commenting on the sports’ daily news.
Sunday was the latest example of Kiffin being Kiffin. USC transfer quarterback Jaxson Dart posted a photo of the two in front of an Aston Martin, the car of James Bond. Dart captioned the photo “We out like 007” with a snowy Oxford, MS in the background.

Both have their heads down with Ole Miss gear on, something that honestly looks like an album cover. The quarterback and coach seem to have a connection — something former signal-caller Matt Corral has talked about extensively as one of the head coach’s best traits.
If Dart does end up picking Ole Miss, he and Kiffin will once again have one of the top offenses in the country in front of them. Add on former On3 Consensus five-star running back Zach Evans and every defensive coordinator in the SEC will lay awake at night thinking of the Rebels.
Jaxson Dart down to two schools
USC football transfers Jaxson Dart and Michael Trigg are down to two schools, per On3’s Gerry Hamilton. The pair will attend either Oklahoma or Ole Miss in 2022.
Dart and Trigg made visits to both schools over the weekend, and it apparently made an impression on them. The two former Trojans are among the most sought-after players in the transfer portal, along with Sooners quarterback Caleb Williams.
A true freshman in 2021, Dart started three games for the Trojans this past season. He played in six games total, finishing with 1,353 yards passing, nine touchdowns and five interceptions. His best game came on Sept. 18 against Washington State, as he threw for a season-high 391 yards and four touchdowns.
Prior to joining USC, Dart earned several accolades while playing for Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah. He was named the 2020 Gatorade Player of the Year, Max Preps National Player of the Year and Sports Illustrated All-America first team. Corner Canyon claimed a 6A title his senior season as Dart broke the Utah state record with 67 passing touchdowns.
