Shane 'Swerve' Strickland Announced For 4/16/22 Wrestling Revolver Event

Shane Strickland is back in independent wrestling.

After being released by WWE in November 2021, Shane Strickland hasn't made a lot of official moves in the world of professional wrestling. Now, an independent promotion has officially announced that Shane Strickland will be a part of their April 16 show.

Wrestling Revolver, which has played host recently to rivalries such as Jon Moxley and Jimmy Jacobs and even the reuniting of the American Wolves, Davey Richards, and Eddie Edwards, has now announced that Shane Strickland will be featured on their April 16 event.

Strickland has largely been focusing on his other projects including his podcast and his music-making. During his time in WWE, he was an NXT North American Champion and was briefly on Friday Night SmackDown along with the rest of hit row before they were all released a month after being called up.

Major League Wrestling hinted at one of Shane Strickland’s former personas, Killshot, still being around in MLW Azteca. Learn more about that here.
