Daniel Garcia Becomes First TERMINUS Grappler To Win By KO; Moose Suffers First TERMINUS DQ Loss

Rules matter in TERMINUS.

During the debut event for TERMINUS: Modern Age Grappling, the new set of directives have already come into play.

One of the featured matches on the event was a Terminal Eliminator 4 Corners match and in that match, AEW’s Daniel Garcia defeated JDX, Invictus Khash, and Adam Priest. Garcia was the standout wrestler in the match as he eliminated all three of his opponents.

Two opponents he eliminated by way of pinfall, albeit through nefarious means, but Garcia was able to definitively finish Invictus Khash by way of Knockout with a fierce Palm Strike. In doing so, Daniel Garcia became the first person in the new promotion to gain a victory by way of knockout.

Later in the evening, the unique set of rules played into another match.

Moose, current IMPACT World Champion and someone who is not known for his pure wrestling ability or his willingness to follow the rules, was disqualified in a match with Mike Bennett after suffering two technical fouls when he deliberately threw Mike Bennett over the ropes twice in order to avoid suffering damage.

Because of the current situation with Mike Bennett and the Rogue group from Ring of Honor invading IMPACT, Lenny Leonard and Dave Prazak, the commentary team for the evening questions whether or not this would put Bennett in line for a future Championship opportunity.

We will have full results of the event after it airs.
