NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 44-year-old man was fatally shot inside the lobby of his Washington Heights apartment building early Sunday morning, police said.

Cops responded to a 911 call for an aided victim at around 1:56 a.m. inside an apartment building lobby at 501 West 176th St, authorities said.
Upon arrival, officers found Lamar Brown, who lives on the third floor of the building, unconscious and unresponsive, with a bullet wound to his abdomen.
He transported him to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
