As Jaxson Dart and Michael Trigg look at transferring away from the USC football program, it appears as if they have a couple destinations in mind.

One of the most interesting quarterbacks in this round of transfers is apparently getting close to making a decision. Jaxson Dart, who decided to transfer away from the USC football program after Lincoln Riley was hired, has trimmed his list of possible transfer destinations to a couple schools, according to a report from On3.

Dart and Michael Trigg, a talented tight end who is also leaving the USC Trojans, are reportedly considering the Oklahoma Sooners and the Ole Miss Rebels. According to On3’s report, it appears as if the two will transfer together.

According to On3’s report, either the Sooners or Rebels will end up with the pair of former Trojans. That could be monumental for either team involved.

Ole Miss is coming off a banner season. Even though it ended in disappointment, the Rebels made a ton of progress under Lane Kiffin in his second season in Oxford. The addition of Dart and Trigg could be a game changer for Ole Miss going into next season.

Of course, Brent Venables and the Sooners are trying to keep their program relevant on a national level. Lincoln Riley leaving for USC ushered in an era where the Sooners have a ton of questions and uncertainty, but landing a quarterback as good as Dart and a talented tight end like Trigg could help make things easier for Venables in his first year as a head coach in Norman.

Dart and Trigg are both young and have plenty of eligibility ahead of them. Dart was a four-star quarterback in the recruiting class of 2021. 247 also rated Trigg as a four-star for that same recruiting cycle.
