(CNN) — Brig. Gen. Charles McGee, one of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen, died Sunday morning in his sleep, according to a family spokesman. He was 102. The men who fought for a country that did not even receive basic needs, showed what dignity was.. The Tuskegee Airman, the Montfort Point Marines and Army tankers, as well as those who in support service’s truck battalions were the men who were the base of the Civil Rights Movement. They were treated better by people in Europe, then they came home to the discrimination they now understood had always been wrong. RIP General.. May your spirit live on..

My grandfather told me about these young men ...now I am telling my grandchildren about them..102 bless him RIP....He was Around to see great changes and all the things that remain the same.
