The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made easy work of the Philadelphia Eagles in their Wild Card matchup on Sunday, but Tom Brady made sure to warn his team that it won't always be the case in the playoffs.

It's not like the Buccaneers need any reminding. After all, they experienced the same thing in their Super Bowl run in 2020. However, it is certainly critical that Brady keeps his Tampa Bay teammates locked in as the postseason progresses.

“It only gets tougher from here,” Brady said after their win over the Eagles, per team reporter Carmen Vitali.

For what it's worth, the rest of the playoff contenders have probably become more cautious after witnessing how Tom Brady dismantled the Eagles, who actually fought well in their lone meeting in the regular season. As Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said it, TB12 is like “a surgeon” who dissects his opponents slowly before starting his operation.

Brady finished with two touchdowns in the contest, all while showing his elite passing skills with 29-of-37 pass completion rate for 271 yards. The Patriots' defense played really well, too, picking off Jalen Hurts twice to stymie the Philly offense for the 31-15 win.

Tampa Bay certainly remains one of the biggest threats to all Super Bowl aspirants, and Brady is the reason for that. Not only does he play great when it matters most, but he is a seasoned leader who understands what it takes to win. His latest warning to his teammates is just proof of that.
