Bicyclist hit and killed in Orange County, driver arrested

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. (KNX) – A 71-year-old man was killed Saturday in a hit-and-run, police said.

The man, identified as Liem Bui, was bicycling when he was hit.

According to the Orange County Register, the crash happened just before 5:40 a.m. Bui was found dead on Euclid Avenue.

Police tracked the car in Westminister and identified the driver as 32-year-old Amanda Martin. Martin was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence, vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, and felony hit-and-run, according to the outlet.
