Marvel's Wolverine Has a New Narrative Director
Marvel's Wolverine has gained a new narrative director in the form of Walt Williams. Insomniac Games has quickly built up a reputation for its as some of the best storytellers in gaming. The team really showed its potential with games like Resistance, but found major critical and commercial acclaim with its Spider-Man games. Although Insomniac is deep into development on Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Insomniac also confirmed that it is working on Marvel's Wolverine. This will be the first AAA Wolverine game since Activision's beloved X-Men Origins: Wolverine, so the bar has been set for the character.

PlayStation Leak Reveals PS5 Fantasy Game Exclusive
A new leak from PlayStation has seemingly revealed that a PlayStation 5 exclusive fantasy game is now in the works. For the most part, Sony has been pretty quiet about many of the PS5 titles that it has in development. Outside of God of War Ragnarok, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and a handful of other titles, we don't know what many of Sony's first-party studios are working on at the moment. Pokemon Red and Blue Fan Video Reimagines the Game in Original Art Style
When Pokemon Red and Blue first released, the game was accompanied by a lot of excellent art from Ken Sugimori. Sugimori's stunning watercolor art could be found throughout the instruction manual, player's guide, promotional material, and more. Over the years, Sugimori's style has greatly evolved, but a lot of old-school fans still love the original Pokemon art and designs. Fan artist @Pokeyugami on Twitter decided to take Sugimori's style and imagine how it might look applied to a modern day Pokemon game. The result is nothing short of breathtaking, and a must-see for long-time fans!

Sonic Frontiers: Sega "Working Hard" to Improve the Game's Quality Ahead of Launch
Following the theatrical success of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, fans of Sega's blue blur are curious to see if his next big video game will be equally successful. Sonic Frontiers is slated to release later this year, and Sega seems well aware of the anticipation. During a Q&A session following Sega Sammy's fiscal year results, the company was asked about Sonic Frontiers, and whether the game's scores on Metacritic are a concern. Sega revealed that it does have "internal targets" in terms of review scores, and that the company is working hard on the game's quality.

Riding solo after longtime co-star Melissa McBride dropped out of The Walking Dead's Daryl-Carol spinoff, Reedus returns as Daryl Dixon in the sequel series taking the lone zombie apocalypse survivor in a new direction: Europe. The untitled spinoff, which will take place and film overseas this summer with ER alum and showrunner David Zabel, could reunite Reedus with "lost" characters who went missing from the Walking Dead Universe. Marvel Releasing New Alien Series This Summer
The Walt Disney Company's acquisition of 20th Century Fox meant bringing a lot of iconic franchises into the realm of Disney, which also means that Marvel Comics is able to dive deep into all corners of a variety of franchises, including the iconic Alien series. Coming this summer is an all-new Alien comic series from writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson and artist Julius Ohta, which will depict the deadly xenomorph serving as a treacherous threat, but also as potentially being the key to humanity's salvation. Colin Cantwell, Who Designed Star Wars' Iconic Starships, Dies at 90
Colin Cantwell, the designer of such iconic Star Wars ships as the X-Wing and the TIE Fighter, and the original Death Stars base, has died. His partner, Sierra Dall, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that the 90-year-old artist died on Saturday at his home in Colorado. In addition to his work on Star Wars, Cantwell's film work includes special effects in 2001: A Space Odyssey, dialogue in Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and consulting on the computer graphics effects in WarGames. Cantwell was a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in animation. He then received a personal invitation to attend Frank Lloyd Wright's School of Architecture from its namesake.

Obi-Wan Kenobi Director Teases Epic Lightsaber Duels
Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen have been the stars of some of the most epic lightsaber action in all of Star Wars. Now, the actors are back as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+. Naturally, it begs the question of what kind of lightsaber duels we can expect as the first live-action Star Wars shows, The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, have put blasters and other weapons at the front of action sequences. Obi-Wan director Deborah Chow sounds excited about some of the action she got to bring to the series, including sequences with the iconic Star Wars weapon.

Star Trek 4: Karl Urban Offers New Update
Karl Urban is the latest Star Trek 4 star to offer an update on when the project might begin filming. Like most of his co-stars, Urban isn't sure of the details. He tells Radio X that he knows Paramount is working on the project, but the practical details of when it may start filming are still not set. "I have heard that it is happening, but I've been hearing that for the last three years," Urban says (via Trek Movie). "All I know is they are developing it, they're writing a script, and I know one hundred percent that we all want to come back and do it. So I think it's all just a matter of logistics and timing at this point."
