Jalen Hurts' shaky throwing ability is one of the Philadelphia Eagles' biggest Achilles' heels. Philly made the playoffs behind a run-heavy offensive attack, which Hurts was a huge part of. But their passing game has not been very good. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have taken advantage of that so far in the Wild Card Round.

Indeed, Hurts has struggled mightily in his first playoff game. He threw for just 83 yards in the first half and threw a costly interception when the Eagles were just outside of the red zone. Overall, the Philadelphia offense had a brutal first half.

As the Eagles entered halftime down 17-0, Troy Aikman blasted Hurts for not being able to get any passes to DeVonta Smith:

Smith, the Eagles' leading receiver in the regular season, wasn't even targeted five times in the first half. The rookie wide receiver has thrived this season but has not been able to contribute much on Sunday.

Although the Eagles are getting run off the field at Raymond James Stadium, this season was a step in the right direction. They clinched a playoff spot only a year after seemingly having no direction. Hurts has a lot to improve on in order to be the Eagles' franchise quarterback.

The Buccaneers are set to move on to the next round, but they will have to be on the lookout for the statuses of some key offensive linemen, who went down with injuries.
