Emmerdale spoilers follow.
After Al tried to buy The Woolpack and convert it into flats, Emmerdale fans have been concerned about whether their favourite on-screen pub will be disappearing forever.
That, in addition to the explosion on Christmas Day courtesy of Al, has led people to believe that the staple building will not be returning to the show.
But, hope is not lost as Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw has confirmed that, although the Dingles have currently given up on reopening, they might change their minds very soon.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Shaw said: "Things might get a little worse for Chas and Paddy [Dingle] before they get better. But from the ashes of Christmas Day, we're going to see a shiny new Woolpack emerge this year and the fight for who's going to control it will definitely be on."
"Who's going to be victoriously holding their keys at the end of it, though? Who's going to have their name over the door? You're going to have to watch to find out," Shaw teased.
Chas has been ready to throw in the towel for a while now, and nearly signed over The Woolpack to Al before refusing to because of Al's attempt to change the contract behind their back.

As Chas was unable to claim insurance after the explosion, selling seems to be her only option – but hopefully she won't capitulate to Al's demands and manipulations.
After all, Al was the one who rigged the explosion in the first place to force Chas' hand, but she doesn't yet know it was all part of his devious plan.
The question remains, who will buy The Woolpack and what will they do with it?
With Shaw's confirmation that the pub will remain standing, as a pub, we have to hope that either Chas figures out a way to rebuild or finds another trusted person to take over The Woolpack.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
