Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is having an off-shooting season by his standards, hitting 42.1% from the floor and 38.4% of his three-point attempts. Although he's having his least efficient shooting season since 2016-17, Curry is still in the MVP race. In this post, though, we’re answering a question on all Dubs fans’ minds — is Stephen Curry playing vs. the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday?

Is Warriors superstar Steph Curry playing vs. the Timberwolves?

The two-time MVP has led the Warriors to one of the best records in the NBA this season. Curry has done most of it without his fellow Splash Brother, Klay Thompson, who's only played two games so far this season. Their record currently stands at 31-11, second-best in the NBA behind last season's Western Conference champions, the Phoenix Suns.

This season Curry became the all-time leader in three-pointers made. He passed Ray Allen to claim the No. 1 spot inside Madison Square Garden on December 14th. Ray Allen and Reggie Miller were in attendance to witness history. It was a magical moment and it took Curry no time to break the record. He came in the game two triples away from the mark, then made both threes in the first quarter.

Curry has also stepped it up on defense this season. Even though he's struggling a little with shooting, this could actually be the best version of Curry we've seen. He is a two-way player now. Teams still try to pick on him, but their success rate hasn't been the same as it's been in the past. But let's get back to the question.

Is Stephen Curry playing vs the Timberwolves? Curry hurt his hand against the Chicago Bulls on Friday. After the game, he said he was experiencing some discomfort but should be fine.  But the next day reports from The Athletic's Anthony Slater that Curry would be out against the Minnesota Timberwolves with right-hand soreness.

If the Warriors leave Minnesota with a victory, they will do it without their MVP candidate, Stephen Curry.
