Thousands across the Upstate are without power due to the expected winter storm. Blue Ridge Electric's outage map shows over a 1,000 customers in Oconee County are without power and over 800 in Anderson County. Duke Energy has vastly more impacted customers across the Upstate. The SCDOT has been out throughout Sunday morning, trying to keep the roads as safe as possible. Below is a picture of the SCDOT out Sunday morning.

As of 10:30 Sunday morning, Duke Power is reporting that around 15,000 people are without power in 7 Upstate counties. Greenville County has the most customers without power at over 4,000. Greenville's Haywood Mall has announced it is closed Sunday due to winter storm. Greenwood County has just over 3,000, which is over 10% of Duke's customer base there.

Spartanburg County as of 10:30 Sunday morning had over 1,600 Duke customers without power. Pickens County with over 2,000, Oconee County with over 1,400 and Laurens County with over 1,000. No ETA has been given on restoration from Duke Energy. However, Duke Energy and Blue Ridge Electric say they have crews out working in the storm.
