3 reasons to doubt the Chicago Bulls as NBA Championship contenders. 

Through half the 2021-22 NBA season, it’s hard to argue with what the Chicago Bulls have been so far. They’ve arguably been the most consistent team in the Eastern Conference and are currently sitting atop as the 1-seed.

However, that doesn’t mean you can’t question their championship chances. In fact, I would argue that you almost have to. Their performance so far this season is pretty unexpected and while many thought they would be a playoff team, I’m not sure if anyone thought they would be the cream of the crop even just through the first half of the season.

Amid almost every this year, the Bulls have survived and overcome – whether it was early-season injuries or battling through health and safety protocol unavailability.
